Job Description

Overview Ideal candidate is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant who can work the Urgent Care in our facility with a Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Prior experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Room is a must Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Manage complex cases across specialties such as treatment of acute pain. Fever, cold, and post-acute care by performing procedures like suturing and IV insertions. Administer medications and injections with precision while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining meticulous medical documentation. Provide telehealth consultations to extend care access remotely, supporting patients in outpatient settings or home care environments. Qualifications Valid ARNP/PA license with current certification; experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, neonatal ventilator management, or hospice & palliative medicine is highly desirable. Strong skills in performing procedures like suturing, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and sterile processing techniques. Expertise in managing acute pain cases and utilizing CPT coding for billing purposes; familiarity with Workers' Compensation law and ICD coding enhances your effectiveness. Exceptional communication skills for triage duties and health coaching; experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is advantageous.
