Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in medical office setting. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Obtain medication authorizations. Administer medications, immunizations and treatments per provider orders. Educate patients on disease prevention, treatment plans and wellness strategies. Assist physician and advanced practice providers with exams, procedure and treatments. Provide direct patient care, including assessments, vital signs and screenings. Help triage incoming clinical phone calls from patients. Help coordinate patient care, referrals and follow-up as needed. Maintain compliance with infection control, safety protocols and health regulations Support a team-based approach to patient care, collaborating with other staff and providers. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Mentoring Medical Assistants by supporting individuals to achieve their goals, offering advice, sharing insights and helping them develop skills and confidence all while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Familiarity with medical office protocols. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Knowledge of relevant medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
