Job Description:
Shift:
Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM Maintains records of clinical education activities and outcomes. Provides training and development opportunities for clinical staff. Collaborates with other departments to integrate clinical education programs. Develops and implements clinical education programs for all non-provider clinical personnel. Completes short and long-term planning for clinical education programs. Oversees the creation, monitoring, and delivery of curriculum throughout the organization. Provides support for ongoing development and maintenance of standards for performance and clinical outcomes. Travels throughout the region to multiple medical practices and ambulatory centers. Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Ensures clinical education programs meet regulatory requirements. Supervises all non-provider clinical personnel. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of clinical education programs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of governmental clinical quality programs (MIPS, HEDIS, etc.) [Required]
  • Knowledge of clinical operations in an ambulatory environment, particularly in a hospital aligned physician practice. [Required]
  • AIDET/Customer Service Skills [Required]
Education:
  • Bachelor's [Required]
  • Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
  • In Nursing, Business Administration, Public Health, or other similarly related field
Work Experience:
  • 3+ an ambulatory medical environment/clinic [Required]
  • Physician practice [Preferred]
  • Previous nurse education/teaching [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
  • Basic Life Support
  • CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
