Applicants should have availability for 8 to 12 hour blocks during the week and/or on weekends Help train families to care for their children at home At Home Heart Florida, we believe families should have the support, education, and clinical partnership they need to safely care for medically fragile children at home. We are hiring RN Pediatric Educators to help lead that work. This is not a traditional home health role. This is a meaningful, flexible role for nurses who enjoy education, one-on-one care, and building strong relationships with families. In this role, you will provide hands-on teaching, reinforce clinical skills, and help caregivers build confidence while caring for their child. Assignments are typically structured around 46 hours of training per family , which may be spread across multiple shifts or days depending on the case. There may also be opportunities to pick up additional pediatric fill-in shifts. Requirements Active Florida RN license Current
BLS / CPR
certification At least 2 years of nursing experience At least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes in your region Availability for 8 to 12 hour shifts during the week and/or on weekends Comfortable teaching and supporting parents and family caregivers in the home Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills Preferred Pediatric home health experience Experience with medically complex children Experience teaching patients, families, or new caregivers Spanish-speaking ability is a plus Why nurses love this role Teach, not just task.
