RN01 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our NICU Transport Team. The RN NICU Transport is responsible for providing specialized neonatal critical care during the stabilization and transport of high-risk newborns and infants between healthcare facilities. The nurse collaborates closely with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, paramedics, and transport personnel to ensure safe and effective patient transfers.

Responsibilities Duties:

Assess, stabilize, and provide advanced nursing care to critically ill or premature neonates during transport. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, and patient responses to treatment Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and specialized therapies according to established protocols. Operate and troubleshoot transport equipment, including ventilators, incubators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and oxygen delivery systems. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation throughout the transport process. Communicate effectively with referring and receiving facilities, physicians, and family members. Participate in emergency interventions, including neonatal resuscitation and advanced life support measures. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and transport safety protocols. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, education, and ongoing competency training.

Experience:

2 YEARS

EXP, HARD STOP BLS, NRP, PALS NICU/PEDS

Transport RN- Helicopter and ambulance transport experience required.
