Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join our growing clinical team in a specialized inpatient gastroenterology role. This position offers a structured schedule and the opportunity to work at the forefront of digestive health and advanced endoscopy. The Role As an Inpatient GI Nurse Practitioner, you will be a vital link in the continuity of care for patients with complex gastrointestinal and liver disorders. You will work closely with our lead gastroenterologists to manage acute consultations, follow-up care, and discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and medical histories for inpatient GI consultations. Manage a diverse range of conditions, including GI bleeds, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), cirrhosis, and biliary tract disorders. Collaborate with the surgical and interventional teams to coordinate procedural care. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging. Provide patient education regarding chronic disease management and post-procedure recovery. Schedule & Compensation We value work-life balance and offer a predictable, sustainable schedule:
Primary Schedule:
Monday through Friday.
Weekend Rotation:
Minimal weekend coverage (typically 1-2 weekends per month).
Hours:
Standard daytime rounding hours.
Benefits:

Board Certification (ANCC or AANP). Prior experience in Gastroenterology is preferred. Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
