Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a experienced, dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Perioperative team that will rotate mainly as OR Circulator, but experience in Pre-op and PACU is a plus (Pre-op, Intra-op, PACU). The ideal candidate will be able to work in all 3 areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role requires experience as an OR Circulator, a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. This role may have growth for an OR Charge Nurse position. The Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures. Responsibilities 3 years OR experience is required. Prepare patients for surgery by assessing their health status and reviewing medical history. Administer medications and monitor vital signs throughout the surgical process. Assist surgeons during operations by providing necessary instruments and supplies. Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room to prevent infections. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery processes. Document all nursing activities accurately in patient records. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Experience Candidates should possess the following experience or skills: Familiarity with Fluoroscopy techniques as they relate to surgical procedures. Experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center settings, providing comprehensive patient care. Knowledge of Ambulatory Surgery Center practices, including acute care protocols. Experience in Internal medicine to address complex health issues pre-and post-surgery. Pay:
From $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
