Pediatric Nurse Rainbow Kids PPEC Winter Park, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time 23 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Patient monitoring RN License BLS Certification CPR Full Job Description Position Overview Rainbow Kids PPEC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. Our center provides comprehensive, non-residential medical care to children with medically complex conditions. The RN will play a pivotal role in delivering skilled nursing care, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and supporting families in managing their children's health needs. Key Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders Monitor and document patients' health status, including vital signs and behavioral changes Develop and implement individualized care plans based on thorough assessments Provide feeding assistance, including G/J tube feedings, and manage other medical equipment as needed Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and family members to ensure cohesive care delivery Educate families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and care techniques Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care provided Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for all patients Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Qualifications Current, active Florida RN license CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) Level 2 background screening clearance Minimum of 1 year pediatric nursing experience preferred; experience with medically fragile children is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
