Labor & Delivery Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts starting at 6:45 AM or 6:45 PM
• 2 years of specialty experience in Labor & Delivery required
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications:

BLS, ACLS, NRP

(Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Intermediate or above EFM

• Follow AWHONN staffing ratios
• Work every other weekend
• Rotate holidays with permanent staff
• May float to post-partum as needed
• 2-shift floor-specific orientation provided
• Work with 12 labor beds, 5 antepartum beds, and 2 operating rooms
• Handle 150-200 births per month in OB emergency room with 6 triage beds
• Care for high-risk OB to routine OB patients, including antepartum patients
• Use

MEDITECH

charting system and OB Trace fetal heart monitoring system

• Scrubs provided by hospital
• 72-mile radius rule strictly enforced
• Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks
• BSN not required but nursing license must be submitted
