Job Description

Company and Position Overview:
McGrew Miller Bomar & Bagley is a distinguished civil litigation and trial defense law firm. It is engaged in medical malpractice defense, representing medical providers in a multitude of healthcare specialties, as well as general liability defense, representing premises owners and managers, security companies, rideshare companies and drivers, common carriers, and product manufacturers. We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse/Legal Nurse Consultant with experience in civil litigation. Trial experience a plus. We are a dynamic, continuously growing firm, specializing in medical malpractice and general liability defense. Our office is located at Truist Plaza, 303 Peachtree St., Suite 2750, Atlanta, GA 30308.
The Role:
  • Provides medical record review and case management in a defense litigation law firm. Position is 40 hours per week, in office. Remote days as approved.
  • Professional demeanor necessary to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys, staff, and clients and to provide information with ordinary courtesy, diplomacy, and tact.
  • Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and attention to detail skills to allow for timely, effective, and accurate performance of job duties.
  • Ability to demonstrate impeccable integrity in confidential matters.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with medical malpractice cases.
  • Analyze and summarize medical records.
  • Coordinate retaining expert witnesses.
  • Conduct research; track and bill time.
Qualifications:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse. Five years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical chronologies.
  • Technologically Savvy.
  • Defense litigation experience required. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. The firm provides each full-time employee with a comprehensive benefits package, including:
