Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Active, unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR nursing experience Proficient in assisting with cardiovascular surgical procedures Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation Excellent critical thinking and communication skills Current BLS and ACLS certification
Responsibilities/Duties:
Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures Scrub and circulate during complex cardiac surgeries Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team Ensure adherence to strict sterile and safety protocols Accurately document procedures and update patient records Support and educate patients and their families before and after procedures
