Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in an Intensive Care Unit setting as part of a dedicated healthcare team. This position provides the opportunity to utilize and expand your critical care skills while working directly with patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions. The ideal candidate is a motivated Registered Nurse (RN) with prior ICU experience and a commitment to clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition. Administer medications, treatments, and life-supporting interventions in accordance with physician orders and ICU protocols. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized patient care plans. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly in the medical record. Serve as a patient and family advocate by providing education and emotional support throughout the treatment process. Participate in continuous quality improvement and unit-based initiatives.
Desired Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered RN license. Recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) required. Proficiency in advanced monitoring systems, ventilators, and IV/central line management. Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. BLS and ACLS certifications (current). Ability to effectively manage high-acuity situations while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
