Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional patient care and make a meaningful impact in both the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units at a supportive healthcare facility. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Registered Nurse who excels in dynamic environments and thrives while delivering compassionate care to diverse patient populations.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license. Demonstrated experience in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) and Telemetry nursing required. Strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking abilities. Proficient in interpreting telemetry strips and responding appropriately to cardiac changes. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and patient education skills. Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in both Med Surg and Telemetry units, following established protocols and physician orders. Continuously monitor patient condition and vital signs, recognizing and addressing any signs of deterioration, particularly cardiac changes. Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care. Educate patients and families about conditions, care plans, and discharge instructions. Accurately document all observations, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record. Adhere to infection control guidelines and safety standards to promote optimal patient outcomes.
