Job Description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide skilled nursing care as an RN in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown environment, delivering quality patient-centered services during the night shift. This role involves monitoring patients conditions, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare teams, and responding to changes in patient status with efficiency and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess patients in PCU/Stepdown units, ensuring timely interventions Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies during the 12-hour night shift Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled Float within the unit as needed according to the rotation scheduleQualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and valid RN license Experience in Stepdown, Progressive Care, or similar acute care settings Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM) Strong critical thinking and communication skills Comfortable working a weekend rotation schedule (6 shifts every 6 weeks) Flexibility to work holiday shifts (approximately 75%) Willingness to float within the rotation schedule as required Completion of SimpliFi Clinical Interviewing process with manager final interviewLocation Overview:
