Gain experience handling a wide variety of cases, from strokes and chest pain to trauma and mental health emergencies. The support structure includes CNAs, a transport team, round-the-clock respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and intensivists, ensuring collaborative care.

Schedule/Hours:

12-hour shifts: 7A-7P or 7P-7A Weekend rotation: 5-6 weekend shifts/12 per 6-week cycle No on-call requirement Holiday coverage: 1 shift per major holiday

Desired Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years ED RN experience Active RN license

BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC

required EKG competency required (exam during onboarding) Emergency Nursing national certification preferred Familiarity with Level 1 Trauma protocols and critical drips (Heparin, Insulin, Cardene, Dopamine, Epinephrine, Fentanyl, Propofol, Levophed)

EPIC EMR

experience a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality care in a Level 1 Trauma environment Assess, triage, and manage patients across a broad spectrum of emergencies Participate in continuous teamwork with physicians and support staff Perform or assist with procedures and medication administration Document accurately in EMR (EPIC)
