Job Description:
Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses, ensuring they are realistic, attainable, and culturally appropriate. Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and documentation. Implements interventions from the plan of care safely, timely, and appropriately, documenting actions taken. Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and plans of care as needed. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment. Educates patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans, ensuring understanding and compliance. Participates in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and nursing practices. Serves as a patient advocate, ensuring patient rights and needs are respected and addressed. Collects and documents patient health data systematically and continuously. Analyzes assessment data to determine and validate diagnoses with the patient, family, and healthcare providers. Other duties as assigned.
Education:
  • Associate's of Nursing [Required]
  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
  • 1+ Acute care nursing experience [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred]
Pay Range:
