7:00 PM•7:30 AM | Monday•Sunday (Varies)
Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute neuro medical-surgical unit, including post-operative and medically complex cases involving neurosurgery, neurology, ENT, and general surgery patients.
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required Minimum 2 years recent Medical/Surgical experience required AHA BLS certification required
AHA ACLS
certification required NIHSS certification required Strong acute care and neuro experience required No local candidates within 50 miles
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care for neuro and medical-surgical patients Monitor post-operative neurosurgery, neurology, ENT, and general surgery patients Perform frequent neurological assessments and document changes Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered Care for both ambulatory and total-care patients Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Support patient recovery and rehabilitation needs Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems Ensure patient safety and infection control compliance For more details reach at dparmar@navitashealth.com
