7:00 PM - 7:30 AM 3x12s | 36 Hours/Week Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required AHA BLS certification required NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required No local candidates within 50 miles Unit Overview The Special Care Nursery (SCN) is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing specialized care to neonates with medical and/or surgical conditions. The unit primarily cares for infants born at Northside Hospital, while transfer admissions from outside facilities are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The unit utilizes advanced neonatal equipment including: ReCam ophthalmic imaging system Cardiac monitors Warmer beds Isolettes Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU is responsible for providing specialized, high-quality nursing care to critically ill and premature neonates in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The RN will monitor and manage neonatal patient conditions while collaborating closely with neonatologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal outcomes for infants and families. Roles & Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to premature and critically ill neonates Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments and continuous patient monitoring Administer medications, IV therapies, feedings, and treatments as ordered Monitor respiratory status, cardiac rhythms, oxygen therapy, and vital signs Operate and maintain neonatal equipment including monitors, isolettes, and warmer beds Assist with neonatal procedures and emergency interventions as needed #TB_RN Why TalentBurst?
