1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week night shift contract on an Acute Neuro Med/Surg Unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience and an active GA or compact RN license. Details Work setting is a hospital Acute Neuro Unit (Med/Surg) Patient population includes those recovering from neurosurgery, neurology, ENT surgery, and general surgery — ranging from ambulatory patients requiring minimal assistance to bedridden patients requiring total care 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, any day of the week (Mon-Sun) 3 shifts per week No on-call requirements Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or Acute Neuro nursing experience required Driver's License required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Former permanent staff who have transitioned to travel nursing must have a 2-year break from the facility before being eligible Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made EMR experience should be listed in work history
