Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our PCU Float Pool team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care across multiple inpatient units, including Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical (MS), Post-Surgical, and Emergency Department (ED) hold areas. Nurses in this position must be comfortable adapting to various clinical settings and caring for patients with diverse acuity levels.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for medical, surgical, and step-down patients. Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while adhering to quality and safety standards. Float to various units throughout the hospital, including ED hold areas, based on staffing and patient care needs.
Requirements:
2 years of PCU/Stepdown experience Epic Experience Travel Experience BLS (AHA) ACLS Comfortable with the float

$50.00

00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have at least 2 years of recent PCU/Stepdown nursing experience? Do you have experience using Epic EMR? Do you have previous travel nursing experience? Do you currently hold a valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)? Do you currently hold a valid ACLS certification? Are you comfortable floating to various units within the facility, including PCU, Med-Surg, and ED hold areas, as needed?
