1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cath Lab position in a split lab environment rotating between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology, with call requirements and day shift scheduling. Details Split lab environment with rotation between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00-17:30 On-call requirement of approximately 9-10 call shifts per 6-week schedule, including weekends Weekends included in the call schedule Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed 12-week contract Requirements Active GA or Compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required All relevant certifications must be current and copies provided for consideration Two supervisory references (Manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted No special scheduling requests, alternate shifts, or schedule changes are permitted RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days and may not be requested during the first week of assignment Holiday coverage policy: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO allowed; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two, with one holiday RTO request eligible for review Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day Travelers must be away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of one full year before returning as a traveler Full compliance with all onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time
