These nurses function under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Medical Director. These professionals are tasked with providing care for the patient under the physician's direction. This includes preparing patient for exams, assisting during treatments, follow-up care, medication administration, and recording in medical record. They also assist in giving patient and family education while demonstrating competency and skills to serve patients of adult and geriatric populations. Will have other duties as necessary. It is expected that all nurses are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implement the Nursing Practice Standards. As members of the patient services team, each individual upholds the voice of the patient, our system policies and procedures, all while supporting service excellence goals. This position will be full time, every other weekend off rotating shift with normal 2 on 2 off scheduling.

Qualifications Required Minimum Education:

Graduate from an accredited nursing program.

Required Minimum Licensure/Certification:

Current/active license as a Nurse in the State of Georgia. Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association or other entity prior to hire date.

Required Minimum Experience:

Previous Skilled Nursing healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Required Minimum Skills:

Must be organized and manage time efficiently to assure patient comfort and satisfaction. Attentiveness to detail. Strong interpersonal/human relations skills, interact positively with staff, providers, patients, and patient families. Must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language.
