Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - CVOR Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with CVOR expertise to provide top-quality patient care in a dynamic perioperative environment. This contract opportunity supports surgical services and enhances coordination across the cardiovascular operating room team.
Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of 2 years' experience as an RN in a CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) setting Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong understanding of CVOR protocols, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile technique Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Proven attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to cardiovascular surgical patients before, during, and after operative procedures Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and responses to interventions Prepare and maintain the CVOR, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning Support the surgical team in maintaining a sterile and safe operative environment Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other allied health professionals Adhere to established protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development Experience the opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes in a supportive, fast-paced surgical setting.
