Pediatric In-Home Nursing Support Location:

Part-Time Hours Available Pay Rate:
$50 per hour Summary ReadyMed Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled pediatric in-home nursing care under the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP). The RN will deliver daily skilled care, monitor respiratory and cardiovascular status, support developmental and mobility needs, assist with activities of daily living, and provide caregiver education in a home-based setting.
Required Skill Sets Respiratory Assessment:
Monitor work of breathing, lung sounds, oxygen saturation, and early signs of respiratory distress
Respiratory Treatment Management:
Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and medications; monitor for wheezing, coughing, or increased respiratory effort
Cardiovascular Monitoring:
Observe for fatigue, color changes, poor activity tolerance, and promptly report changes in status
Mobility & Positioning Support:
Assist with transfers, positioning, and range-of-motion activities to promote comfort and prevent complications
Behavioral & Developmental Support:
Provide calm, patient-centered care while supporting routines, communication, and age-appropriate participation
Safety Awareness:
Maintain a safe environment and monitor for fall risks, sensory triggers, or behavioral concerns
Medication Administration:
Accurately administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects and effectiveness
ADL & Comfort Care:
Assist with hygiene, positioning, feeding support, and comfort measures appropriate for pediatric care
Family Education:
Teach caregivers medication routines, respiratory precautions, mobility support techniques, and symptom recognition Documentation (GAPP): Complete accurate skilled nursing notes and maintain HIPAA and Medicaid compliance Qualifications Active Georgia RN license (unrestricted) Current BLS/CPR certification (PALS preferred) Minimum 2 years pediatric, respiratory, neurological, behavioral health, or home health nursing experience Experience with patients requiring respiratory monitoring, mobility assistance, or developmental support preferred Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills Why Join Us?
