Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a fast-paced surgical recovery environment. The ideal candidate will have strong post-operative nursing skills and experience caring for patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures.

Surgical Services Supported:

Orthopedic Surgery Plastic Surgery General Surgery Colorectal Surgery Gynecologic Surgery Responsibilities:

Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for surgical patients Monitor patients during the immediate post-operative recovery phase Assess airway status, vital signs, pain levels, and overall recovery progress Administer medications and manage post-operative symptoms and complications Coordinate discharge readiness, patient education, and recovery instructions Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and recovery protocols Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced PACU setting

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of recent PACU or perioperative nursing experience required Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required AHA BLS Certification required

AHA ACLS
