Key Qualifications:
Current, active RN license At least one year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required Proficiency in triage, trauma response, and critical care protocols Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Core Responsibilities:
Rapidly assess and prioritize patient needs in the ER Deliver high-quality bedside care to patients with diverse conditions and acuity levels Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions according to protocols Accurately document patient information, assessments, and interventions in the medical record Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the course of care
