Responsibilities Provide exceptional patient care by assisting with, monitoring patient status, and responding promptly to patient needs. Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation, including updating medical records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient services, appointments, and follow-up care, ensuring smooth communication across departments. Manage medical terminology effectively when documenting or communicating patient information to ensure clarity and professionalism. Uphold confidentiality and security of all medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards and organizational policies. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, annual training, and assisting with compliance audits to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications Valid registered nurse (RN) license with current registration in good standing. Proven experience in patient care settings, demonstrating strong nursing skills and clinical judgment. Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support accurate documentation and effective communication. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy and data security. Experience managing medical records and documentation systems efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining precise medical records. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a healthcare team.
