Urgent Need:
MCO Homecare Services LLC has an urgent need for RN coverage in Hampton, GA with a target start date of July 6, 2026 . We are also seeking RN support for client visits in or near Griffin, Ellenwood, Decatur, Covington, Hampton, and surrounding areas . Important Availability Requirement This is a PRN position, but we are looking for an RN with consistent availability who can treat scheduled client visits as a priority. This role is not a good fit for someone who is only available occasionally or who may not be able to complete visits on time due to a full-time job schedule. The ideal RN must be responsive, dependable, able to schedule visits in a timely manner, and able to complete required documentation by the deadline. Applicants should only apply if they have realistic availability to accept and complete home care visits as scheduled. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and experienced Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing oversight for home care clients. The RN may complete initial assessments, reassessments, home supervisory visits, caregiver evaluations, care/service plan reviews, medication oversight, documentation reviews, and quality assurance support. This position is ideal for an RN who is organized, detail-oriented, professional, compassionate, and comfortable working independently in client homes.
Responsibilities May Include:
Complete initial client assessments, reassessments, and follow-up visits as assigned. Perform home supervisory visits to monitor client safety, quality of care, and caregiver performance. Develop, review, and update client care/service plans as needed. Observe and document changes in client condition, care needs, safety risks, and concerns. Review medication reminders, medication-related concerns, and medication management needs within RN scope of practice and agency policy. Educate clients and responsible parties regarding care needs, safety, service expectations, and health-related concerns. Train, supervise, coach, and support caregivers/direct care workers as needed. Complete caregiver competency evaluations, annual caregiver evaluations, and PCA skills testing when assigned. Review caregiver care logs, progress notes, service records, and required documentation. Communicate professionally with clients, families, caregivers, physicians, healthcare providers, office staff, and administrators as needed. Assist with care coordination and quality assurance activities. Report incidents, complaints, suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, changes in condition, or urgent concerns according to agency policy. Respond appropriately to emergencies, including calling 911 when needed and notifying the office/supervisor. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, client rights, agency policies, and privacy requirements. Submit accurate documentation within the required deadline, generally within 24-48 hours after the visit or assigned task. Perform other duties as assigned within RN scope of practice and the home care setting. Requirements /
Qualifications:
Current and active Georgia RN license required. Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Current CPR/BLS certification required. At least 1-3 years of nursing experience preferred. Home care, home health, long-term care, geriatric care, community-based care, case management, or field visit experience preferred. Experience completing assessments, reassessments, supervisory visits, or care plans required. Experience supervising, training, or evaluating caregivers required. Must have strong communication, documentation, organization, and follow-up skills. Must be computer literate and able to complete electronic documentation. Must be dependable, responsive, professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented. Must be able to work independently and manage assigned visits responsibly. Must be able to complete and submit documentation accurately by the required deadline. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance. Updated negative TB test required; if TB test is positive, a cleared chest X-ray is required. Must provide evidence of adequate health status to perform duties. Must be able to pass a background check. Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
Schedule:
PRN / part-time visit-based assignments. Consistent availability preferred. Visits are scheduled based on client needs and RN availability. Day, evening, weekend, and fill-in assignments may be available. Applicants must be able to prioritize accepted visits and complete them by the agreed date.
Service Area:
Primary areas may include Hampton, Griffin, Ellenwood, Decatur, Covington, McDonough, Stockbridge, Jonesboro, and surrounding South Metro Atlanta communities.
Pay:
Competitive per-visit pay based on experience, assignment type, visit type, distance, and client care needs.
