Schedule/Hours:
Day shift starting at 10:45am (weekday mid shift) On call: 3 call shifts within every 4-week schedule Stepping into this vital role, you'll serve as a pivotal member of an interdisciplinary surgical care team. Your focus will be on delivering individualized, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process. You'll practice under progressive leadership and evidence-based frameworks, strengthening your nursing competencies and preparing you for future advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop patient-centered care plans Utilize critical thinking and evidence-based practice to ensure safe surgical outcomes Partner with patients and families to optimize communication and care decisions Facilitate efficient care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration Demonstrate expertise as an OR circulator across diverse services (2-3 years required) Engage in ongoing professional education and serve as a mentor to peers Support compliance with clinical standards and promote safety initiatives Participate in quality initiatives and the development of protocols
Qualifications:
Current RN license (single state or compact) BLS certification required upon hire Associates or Diploma in Nursing; BSN preferred Previous completion of accredited nursing program with requisite clinical hours 2-3 years' experience in a multi-service operating room preferred Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with exceptional judgment Travel nursing brings career growth and adventure.
