Schedule/Hours
- Night shifts: 7pm-7am
- Two (2) 24-hour on-call shifts within an 8-week period Essential Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with evidence-based practice, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Coordinate and document safe, quality care in partnership with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teammates
- Foster culturally sensitive care adapted to patient population needs
- Actively engage in shared governance, teamwork, and clinical improvement initiatives
- Serve as mentor and preceptor to peers and students, supporting workforce development
- Uphold legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards including Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics
- Efficiently allocate resources, adhere to procedural protocols, and maintain compliance with organizational policies
- Participate in ongoing self-education and required professional competencies Qualifications
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Unencumbered RN license (single state or compact)
- BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required upon hire
- Completion of ACLS and PALS within 180 days
- TNCC or ATCN certification within 18 months
- Less than 1 year direct patient care experience considered
