Schedule/Hours:
Day shift, Weekday mid-shift starting at 10:45am
On-call:
3 on-call shifts per 4-week schedule
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care throughout the perioperative process using evidence-based methodology. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring clear communication with patients and their families. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient-centered care plans. Participate in ongoing performance improvement, research utilization, and the development of care protocols. Mentor and support new nurses or students, upholding the highest standards in clinical nursing practice. Comply with all professional, legal, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Associate's or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred. Active RN license (Single State or Compact). BLS certification required. 2-3 years' recent experience as an OR Circulator in a multi-service operating room. Exceptional communication, teamwork, and time management skills. Ability to think critically and respond effectively in fast-paced situations.
