Job Description:
AmeriCare is urgently seeking a dedicated and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care for a pediatric patient in Jonesboro, GA. This is a kiddo requiring a nurse with strong clinical skills, consistency, and a compassionate approach. Pediatric experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one skilled nursing care to a pediatric patient in the home setting. Monitor and manage seizure activity, ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. Provide total care to a wheelchair-bound, completely dependent patient. Administer medications and manage prescribed treatments per care plan. Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate regularly with the care team. Educate and support the family regarding the patient's care and condition. Follow infection control and patient safety protocols strictly.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Georgia (required) Current CPR certification Pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred Strong clinical skills and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
