RN - Intermediate Care

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Intermediate Care Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Lagrange, GA.

Shift & Hours:

3x12 NIGHTS -7P-730AM Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse Educates patients on surgical procedures Records patients' medical information and vital signs Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays Initiates corrective action whenever the patient

Job Requirements:

1 to 2 years of active clinical experience in an Intermediate Care, Stepdown, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) hospital setting. Strong comfort level caring for pre- and post-operative surgical patients, managing specialized equipment, and tracking continuous cardiac telemetry. Exceptional clinical judgment with proven ability to lead rapid interventions during sudden changes in patient acuity. Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license for the State of Georgia or a valid multi-state Compact license. Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
