Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Infusion Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits experienced Registered Nurses with infusion, oncology, and pediatric backgrounds. This contract-based position offers a dynamic environment where clinical expertise and compassionate care come together to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. You will play a key role in administering infusion therapies and supporting oncology patients, including pediatric cases, as part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years' experience in infusion nursing Previous experience caring for oncology patients, including children Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion and infusion pump operation Current BLS certification (ACLS and PALS preferred) Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-acuity settings Compassionate approach with a commitment to patient/family education
Responsibilities:
Administer infusion treatments including chemotherapy and biologics per physician orders Monitor for adverse reactions, document all interventions, and respond to patient needs promptly Provide age-appropriate care for pediatric oncology patients Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure best outcomes Educate patients and families on treatment protocols, side effects, and symptom management Maintain accurate electronic medical records and follow all regulatory requirements Ensure infection control and safety procedures are followed at all times
