Qualifications:

Active RN license, in good standing Previous experience in a Med-Surg (Medical-Surgical) nursing environment Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Proven ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams Ability to prioritize, multitask, and provide compassionate, evidence-based care

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver safe, effective nursing care to adult patients on a Med-Surg unit Conduct frequent assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond proactively to patient needs Implement physician orders, administer medications, and manage IVs Coordinate and communicate with physicians, support staff, and patients' families to ensure comprehensive care Educate patients and families about procedures, plans, and post-discharge care Accurately chart interventions, progress, and patient responses in the EMR system Uphold infection control, health, and safety protocols at all times This contract position is well-suited for professionals seeking steady daytime hours to maintain work-life balance while making a real clinical impact.
