Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Health team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our patient in their home located in Mableton, GA, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is 40 hours per week (8-10 hrs/day) and requires ava strong understanding of patient care, medical documentation, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Medical Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for state of Georgia. Basic Life Support certification. Clean criminal background check. Negative TB test Signed statement of history of no misconduct. Basic Requirements Experience in pediatric care settings (e.g., medical office specializing in pediatrics, children's hospital, or home health with pediatric clients) is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in pediatric medical documentation, including accurate and timely record-keeping. Familiarity with relevant coding practices is a plus. Ability to safely lift and position children of varying ages and sizes, and assist with their mobility needs within the home environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate parents and caregivers, collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the child's healthcare team.
Direct Client Care & Assessment:
Receive and accurately transcribe verbal orders from physicians and other healthcare providers. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized service plans of care for clients. Conduct regular and comprehensive assessments of clients' nursing needs, adjusting care plans as necessary. Monitor clients' conditions and responses to interventions, documenting observations accurately and promptly. Administer medications according to established policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and safety. Educate clients and their families on medication administration, potential side effects, and adherence. Complete and maintain accurate client service plans and other required documentation in a timely manner.
Supervisory & Leadership Responsibilities:
Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Personal Care Aides (PCAs), and other nursing staff. Supervise the accurate and compliant management of client records. Lead and/or participate in the investigation of incidents, grievances, and accidents, ensuring appropriate follow-up and documentation. Train and mentor new nursing and direct care staff on agency policies, procedures, and best practices. Pay:
