Macon, GA Job Details Temporary | Part-time | PRN | Per diem $17 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Medication administration Working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders Tube feeding BLS Certification Working with individuals with chronic illnesses Working with geriatric patients Developmental disability care assistance Working with seniors Older adults Organizational skills Working with adults with disabilities Adults with developmental disabilities Disease state management LPN Hospital experience Time management Full Job Description Seeking a licensed (GA) LPN to work at an Adult Day Health facility with senior citizens and the developmentally disabled population. This individual would need to be comfortable with working with adults with a range of disabilities
Qualifications :
Previous experience with the senior and/or developmentally delayed population Previous experience with Health Monitoring and Management of chronic medical diseases 15+ years work experience
Responsibilities :
Overseeing staff Assisting with medication administration; Assisting with feeding/ G-tube & Flushing; Assisting with nutrition monitoring; Preparing and Serving Meals Assisting with blood sugar and blood pressure monitoring; Daily documentation of medication, activities, and care Assist and perform all treatments for an individual's care Assess individuals and implement treatment care plans Assess and communicate with physicians as needed Supervise and assist support staff as needed Carry out all doctor's orders per treatment plan and ISP Document on individual Educate family caregivers and clients of health status Report problems to Registered Nurse in charge Communicate with the individual's family Report any potential hazards or safety violations as it pertains to care to the RN Monitor MARS monthly Other duties as identified

Ability to gain rapport with clients and families Ability to supervise, delegate, and oversee a team of CNAs/DSPs/PCA's Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient Organizational skills
