Full-time Days and Nights 12-hour shifts What You Will Do Applies evidence-based practice and participates in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and patient outcomes. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation—to provide comprehensive, patient
- and family-centered care across the continuum.
Monitors and evaluates patient conditions, adjusts care plans as needed, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate resources and influence outcomes. Promotes and upholds a culture of safety and adheres to clinical protocols, including the safe administration of medications, treatments, and therapies. Maintains accurate, timely electronic health record documentation and ensures compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, conflict resolution, teamwork, and appropriate delegation to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed assistive personnel. Engages in continuous professional development, completes required education, and maintains necessary credentials and certifications. Practices ethical decision-making in alignment with the ANA Code of Ethics and supports integrated, unbiased, interdisciplinary patient care. Provides age-appropriate care by applying knowledge of growth and development principles and identifying patient needs across the life span. Remains flexible to meet patient care needs, including floating to other units, departments, or facilities within the service area. What We Are Looking For Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program Active, unrestricted registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services Basic Life Support (BLS). Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required based on specialty Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
