Job Description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Schedule/Hours:
12-hour shifts: 7A-7P or 7P-7A Weekend rotation: 5-6 weekend shifts per 6-week cycle No on-call requirements Holiday coverage: one per major holidayQualifications:
Active RN license and two years of Emergency Department RN experienceBLS, BCR
(must pass EKG competency), ACLS, PALS, TNCC required National emergency nursing certification preferred, but not mandatory Proficiency in drips (Heparin, Insulin, Cardene, Dopamine, Epinephrine, Fentanyl, Propofol, Levophed) Open to first-time travelers with solid ED experienceResponsibilities:
Deliver care to a diverse ED population (cardiac, trauma, medical, and mental health cases) Manage a 1:4 RN patient ratio, collaborate with CNAs, techs, and interdisciplinary teams Utilize advanced medical equipment (IV pumps, cardiac monitors, portable oxygen, PCA) Engage fully in all aspects of emergency nursing—from assessments to rapid interventions Participate in ongoing education through orientation and continuous learning modulesBenefits & Travel Perks:
