Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Take the opportunity to deliver quality patient care in a supportive, fast-paced outpatient clinic environment. This contract role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) with strong clinical expertise in ER, urgent care, or related acute care settings. Nurses with ICU backgrounds are also encouraged to apply, as these skills are highly valued in this urgent care setting.
Schedule:
3:00 PM start time 12-hour shifts Looking for candidates with: An active and unencumbered RN license Proven experience in ER, urgent care, or comparable acute clinical roles (ICU backgrounds are welcome) Familiarity with outpatient clinic workflows and protocols Effective assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking ability in urgent scenarios Excellent communication and documentation skills Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification required Ability to collaborate well with multidisciplinary teams Key responsibilities include: Triage and manage urgent patient needs, prioritizing based on acuity and clinic protocols Provide evidence-based nursing care to individuals with a wide range of urgent medical concerns Collaborate closely with providers and medical staff to facilitate patient care plans and interventions Administer medications and perform procedures according to physician orders and nursing standards Educate patients and families, ensuring understanding of treatments, discharge instructions, and follow-up care Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record This contract role offers a chance to expand your skills in a dynamic outpatient clinic atmosphere alongside a team that values your expertise.
