Qualifications:

Valid RN license and current state licensure Minimum of one year of recent experience in CVOR nursing BLS and ACLS certifications required Solid understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

Circulate and/or scrub for cardiovascular operating room procedures Monitor surgical patients' status, anticipate needs, and provide timely interventions Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control policies Communicate patient needs and concerns to the interdisciplinary surgical team Support preoperative preparation and postoperative recovery in collaboration with anesthesia and surgical staff Document nursing interventions, assessments, and outcomes accurately Contribute to patient and family education, offering compassion and professionalism
