Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Healthcare professionals with strong experience in medical-surgical nursing are needed for a contract opportunity. This role focuses on delivering skilled, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced Med-Surg environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Schedule:
DAY shifts, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Key Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Proven experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) setting Comprehensive understanding of clinical procedures and protocols Proficiency in patient assessment, documentation, and care planning Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, team-focused environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care for Med-Surg patients, adhering to best practices, safety protocols, and hospital policies Perform head-to-toe assessments, monitor patient progress, and document observations meticulously Administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with procedures as needed Educate patients and their families regarding ongoing care and post-discharge instructions Collaborate closely with physicians, other nurses, and allied healthcare staff to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes Maintain a clean and safe healthcare environment Those passionate about making a positive impact in hospital settings and confident in their Med-Surg skills will excel here.
