Key Qualifications:
Active RN license Minimum of 2 years recent experience in stepdown or progressive care units BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Adaptable to fast-paced, high-acuity environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care for patients in the stepdown unit Monitor vital signs and manage complex care needs Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per protocols Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Deliver compassionate support and education to patients and their families Document care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
