Experience:
Current, unrestricted RN license Previous nursing experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room required BLS and ACLS certifications Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile field protocols Exceptional teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care in the CVOR, including circulating and scrubbing duties Follow strict infection control procedures and surgical protocols Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and surgical techs to ensure patient safety Monitor patient vitals and response during procedures Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and pre/post-op management
