1 Description American Traveler is seeking a PTA for a home health assignment, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active PTA license, with day shifts and every-other-weekend availability. Details Home health setting serving a diverse patient population Diagnoses include joint replacement/ortho aftercare, CVA, OA, DM, HTN, CHF, COPD, CKD, dementia, amputation, surgical/non-surgical wounds, cancer, UTI, and PVD Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00-16:30) Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Floating within scope of practice 16-week contract Requirements Active PTA license required (license required if applicable) Minimum 1 year of PTA experience required Home health experience required Current certifications must be available for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers with home health experience will be considered Local candidates are accepted Candidates with prior employment at this health system must have been away from all system facilities for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler RTO maximum of 7 days for the duration of the assignment; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work those holidays with no holiday RTO permitted; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two of them Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day No special scheduling requests, alternate shifts, or schedule changes are permitted Full compliance is required prior to the start date
