Wound Care Nurse / PT

Weekend Wound Care Nurse (RN/LPN) - Part Time Park Place Nursing & Rehab Facility Park Place Nursing & Rehab Facility is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our clinical team on a part-time weekend schedule.

The Wound Care Nurse plays a vital role in supporting resident healing and improving quality of life through expert wound management in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. We are looking for a clinician with strong wound care knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct skin and wound assessments with ongoing monitoring and follow-up Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans Perform dressing changes, pressure injury prevention, wound treatments, and infection control measures Participate in weekly wound rounds and maintain accurate documentation Educate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and care techniques Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, therapy, and dietary teams to support optimal healing outcomes Monitor changes in resident conditions and report concerns promptly

Qualifications:

Active Georgia RN or LPN license Wound Care Certification (WCC, WOCN, or equivalent) preferred 1-2 years of wound care experience preferred, ideally in skilled nursing or long-term care Knowledge of pressure injuries, wound vacs, and infection prevention practices Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care Why Join Park Place?
