Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Other Job Type Contract Step into an impactful nursing role supporting patients in a long term acute care environment. This contract opportunity requires an experienced RN ready to deliver exceptional care to individuals facing medically complex conditions, with a focus on progress and patient-centered outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care for a diverse caseload of LTAC patients. Perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, and document patient progress according to facility standards. Administer treatments, medications, and monitor patient responses. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient recovery and discharge planning. Offer support and education to patients and their families regarding disease processes, care requirements, and recovery goals. Uphold all facility protocols and regulatory standards.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time contract Specific shifts and duration to be discussed during the interview process.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license. Proven clinical experience in long term acute care or a similar setting. Proficiency in advanced assessment, critical thinking, and intervention for medically complex patients. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. Strong organizational skills and adaptability to shifting priorities. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred.
