Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care within their scope of practice in both Telemetry and Emergency Department settings. This role includes coordinating and guiding patient and family education, as well as supervising and delegating tasks to other nursing personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards. The RN is accountable for all aspects of patient care and ensures timely, accurate documentation. The RN collaborates closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, promptly communicating any changes in patient condition, diagnostic results, and response to treatment. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations. Additionally, the RN maintains knowledge of EMTALA regulations, ensures compliance with reporting requirements for suspected abuse or neglect, and upholds strict patient privacy and confidentiality standards at all times.

Qualifications:

Current and active State RN License Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) or Stroke Certification (preferred)
