3-12-hour shifts per week Nights , 7:00pm-7:00am Rotating Weekends and Holidays Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30
Where You Will Work:
Unit Overview Our unit is a 23-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in neurological care. We are recognized as a Primary Stroke Center and hold Advanced Spine Care Certification, ensuring the highest standards of treatment and monitoring for complex neurological conditions. Primary Population Stroke patients requiring specialized interventions Elective spine surgeries with advanced post-operative care Seizure disorders needing continuous observation and management Patients requiring progressive/step-down level monitoring and interventions Secondary Population We also provide care for patients with other neurological conditions, including: Myasthenia Gravis Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Huntington's Disease Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease Care Approach Our team delivers comprehensive, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of neurological patients, combining advanced monitoring technology with compassionate, patient-centered interventions. Preferred qualifications (not required): ACLS Preferred Experience (not required): telemetry; critical drips such as Cardizem, Cardene, Amiodarone, Heparin, Insulin; NIHSS; Neuro patient care experience
We're Looking For:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the
American Heart Association What You'll Do:
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
