  • Job Description:
  • We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home care for a child diagnosed with Renpenning Syndrome with G-tube dependence.
The nurse will support the child's daily medical, nutritional, and developmental needs while ensuring safety, comfort, and quality of life in a home setting. This role requires experience in pediatric complex care and strong clinical judgment in managing medically fragile children.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct, hands-on pediatric nursing care in a home environment Manage and administer G-tube feedings, medications, and water flushes as prescribed Monitor respiratory status, vital signs, and overall health condition Perform routine tracheostomy-free airway support (if applicable per care plan) and emergency response as needed Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols Assist with positioning, mobility support, and comfort care Document all nursing care, observations, and changes in condition Coordinate with parents/caregivers and healthcare providers regarding care plans Respond appropriately to medical emergencies following established protocols Support developmental and therapeutic activities as tolerated by the child •
Qualifications:
  • Valid RN license in Georgia Prior experience with G-tube feeding management strongly required Knowledge of pediatric developmental disorders (including genetic syndromes) an advantage Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills Compassionate, patient, and family-centered approach to care Ability to work independently in a home setting Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with caregivers and medical team •
